Booking Agency Accounts

Accounts in STS Cloud can be designated as a customer direct account or a third party agent account.

When designated as a third party agency, these accounts can be linked in a Booking, on the People tab of a group. Linking the Agency account to a booking then allows to identify an IATA number, and also a person from the Agency Account, who may be a direct agency contact for a particular booking.

To designate an account a Booking Agent:

  1. Open the account to edit
  2. Click Account Actions
  3. Click Edit Account Account
  4. In the Account Type field, select Booking Agent
  5. Click Save

Once updated, you will then see the account as a choice in the Booking Agent field of your bookings, on the People tab of the group:
