Adjusting Rates in Room Block

When creating a proposal, there are 4 buttons at the top of the Room Block section to help make customizing your proposal easy:

  • Room Block Grid - creates a grid of rooms, dates and rates

  • Rate Only Option - creates an upsell opportunity

  • Daily Rate - adjusts the rate per day of the week

  • Occupancy-Based Rate - adjusts the rate per number of occupants

The "Rate Only" feature can be used to highlight rates for specific room type categories, without displaying a room block. This is a handy feature for up-selling your premium room types or displaying rates for a variety of categories.

  1. Turn the "Rate Only" button ON in the upper right corner.

  2. You'll notice the "Rate Only" column has been added to the room block section.

  3. Place a checkmark next to the appropriate room types, then type in their respective rates.

  4. Hit SAVE or advance to the next step in the proposal process.

  5. These rooms will be displayed on your proposal (separate from your primary room block) in a section titled "Additional Room Types Available."

The "Daily Rate" feature can be used to adjust rates for the days of the week.

  1. Turn the "Daily Rate" button ON in the upper right corner.

  2. Adjust the rate for the day of the week.

  3. Hit SAVE or advance to the next step in the proposal process.

The "Occupancy-Based Rate" feature can be used to adjust rates for the number of people in each room.

  1. Turn the "Occupancy-Based Rate" button ON in the upper right corner.

  2. Adjust the rate.

  3. Hit SAVE or advance to the next step in the proposal process.
